The Association will collect member and event delegate fees using PayCargo’s encrypted solution
Air Cargo Belgium (ACB) has implemented PayCargo to collect membership and event delegate fees online from its 155 members.
The PayCargo solution will provide ACB members with cost-effective payment options, rapid movement of funds, heightened transparency, and improved security.
“Across the globe, take-up of digitalization is rapidly accelerating, and by supporting ACB with our tailored platform, we are helping them help their members to adopt a solution that is dynamic and can evolve with their industry demands,” said Christian Dornhaus, Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), PayCargo.
As a next step, ACB members will have the option to use PayCargo for their financial transactions within the community once the planned integration to ACB’s BRUcloud BEEhive applications has been implemented.
The PayCargo solution is part of the ongoing digitalization drive across Brussels Airport, which has seen an expansion of its Air Cargo Community capabilities and increased collaboration amongst industry stakeholders.

PayCargo has been instrumental in supporting airport ecosystems globally and driving digitization, including working with Kale and Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport to integrate payments in the USA’s first airport cargo community system.
Earlier this year, PayCargo launched a similar service for Air Cargo Netherlands and developed a payment solution for International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) members that improved financial capabilities for both organizations and provided easier payment options for members.
“We have seen that the PayCargo payment solution and further offerings have been very successful in other parts of the world and, in view of the digital transformation we are experiencing in the industry right now, this was a perfect fit for our community,” said Geert Keirens, Director, ACB.
ACB hosts regular events that bring together members and delegates from across the air cargo community, as well as representing BRUCargo at international fairs.
The Association works across three clusters including airlines, forwarders, and ground handlers, and has nine steering groups, covering digitization, operational excellence, Customs, pharma, fresh, AVI, e-Commerce, innovation and sustainability, and HR and training.
ACB also supports innovative projects such as digitization, including data sharing platform BRUcloud, Stargate, and the BRUcure Taskforce, provides weekly news updates and community communication, lobbies and represents the air cargo industry, and facilitates training, working with the Aviato Academy.
PayCargo recently expanded its European team with the appointment of Christian Dornhaus as Managing Director EMEA, as well as receiving a Series B investment of USD125m, which will fuel regional expansion, digital payment tools, and services for platform users.
