Company doubles its footprint since 2020, continues global expansion strategy with strong post-pandemic growth
Air Charter Service (ACS), one of the world’s leading aircraft charter providers, has opened a new office in Barcelona, marking its 40th global location and second in Spain after Madrid. The new branch will be led by Daniel Martín Rodríguez, a seasoned charter specialist who has been part of ACS’s Madrid team for nearly a decade.
The milestone follows an era of rapid global expansion for the UK-based company. Since 2020, ACS has doubled its number of offices, reflecting an impressive 11% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue over the past six years.
“Our 40th office opening is an incredible achievement,” said Justin Bowman, Group CEO of Air Charter Service. “It comes right after launching our offices in Perth and Riyadh last month, demonstrating our commitment to strengthening our presence in key aviation markets. Spain has always been a strong market for us, with our Madrid office being one of the top performers in our global network. Expanding into Barcelona allows us to serve our growing customer base in Catalonia more effectively.”
Bowman emphasised that ACS’s expansion strategy hinges on local presence combined with global reach — enabling the company to deliver tailored, language-specific, and regionally relevant solutions while maintaining international connectivity. “A local office allows clients to interact with us in their own language and currency, ensuring better service and responsiveness,” he noted. “Meanwhile, our global network creates synergy — connecting clients with international operators and offering airlines access to a wider base of charter opportunities.”
The Barcelona office will cater to private aviation, group charters, and cargo operations, capitalising on the region’s strong economic and industrial base.
Bowman added that ACS is planning further expansion in 2026, with several new offices set to open in countries where the company does not yet have a presence. “Our ambition is to bring ACS closer to clients everywhere,” he said. “We are proud of the strong, sustainable growth we’ve achieved and remain focused on expanding responsibly while maintaining our service excellence.”
