Uzbekistan-based cargo carrier My Freighter has launched a series of new Asia–Europe routes, reinforcing its position as a growing player in the regional airfreight market and strengthening connections between Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Europe.
Effective from 29 March 2026, the Tashkent-hubbed airline will operate weekly flights linking Hanoi (HAN), Vietnam; Bangkok (BKK), Thailand; and Almaty (ALA), Kazakhstan, with Frankfurt Airport (FRA) via Tashkent (TAS). Additional direct services between TAS and FRA are also included in the schedule.
Tashkent as a strategic transit hub
According to the airline, Tashkent will serve as a central transit hub, enabling cargo consolidation and distribution across regions. The expansion aims to increase export shipments from Uzbekistan to Southeast Asia, facilitate inbound cargo flows from Vietnam and Thailand to Central Asia, and strengthen export corridors from Uzbekistan to Europe. The new network also supports efficient transit solutions for broader Asia–Europe trade flows.
“The launch of these routes significantly enhances logistics connectivity between regions and establishes a stable transport link between key markets in Asia and Europe,” a My Freighter spokesperson said.
Fleet and operational capabilities
Flights on the new routes will be operated using the airline’s fleet of Boeing 767-300 freighter aircraft. My Freighter currently operates eight 767-300 freighters, seven of which are passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions, with one being a production freighter. In addition, the airline added a Boeing 757-200P2F to its fleet in March 2025, enhancing capacity for medium-haul operations.
Regional expansion and partnerships
The initiative follows My Freighter’s broader strategy of network expansion and interline cooperation. In January, the airline announced new scheduled cargo flights from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) to Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) in the Netherlands via TAS. My Freighter has also developed interline partnerships with carriers such as China Southern Airlines to extend its reach and improve cargo connectivity across key Asian and European markets.
Through these developments, My Freighter aims to establish itself as a reliable transit and logistics partner, supporting trade growth and strengthening transport links between emerging and established markets across Asia and Europe.
