CMA CGM has officially launched a new scheduled air cargo connection between Paris and Hanoi, further strengthening trade links between Europe and Southeast Asia as demand for high-value manufacturing exports, e-commerce shipments, and industrial cargo continues to rise.
The new service marks another strategic expansion for CMA CGM Air Cargo, which confirmed the launch of operations from Noi Bai International Airport to Paris in early May. According to operational data and company-linked announcements, the inaugural flight departed on May 9, 2026, operated by a Boeing 777F, one of the carrier’s long-haul workhorses.
The newly introduced routing currently operates as:
Paris – Hanoi – Navoiy – Paris
with Navoiy serving as the technical stop on the westbound sector. The Central Asian stop not only supports operational efficiency but also reinforces the growing role of Uzbekistan as a strategic cargo bridge connecting Asia and Europe.
Industry tracking data indicates that the aircraft has already completed multiple rotations since launch, signaling that the service is now fully operational.
