Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has expanded its partnership with cargo carrier My Freighter, securing fuel supply and ground handling contracts at three European airports as the airline continues to strengthen its network across Central and Eastern Europe.
Following a competitive tender, BGS will provide services for My Freighter at Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Tallinn Airport in Estonia and Riga International Airport in Latvia.
The agreement expands an existing relationship between the two companies. My Freighter has previously used BGS for aircraft fuelling services at Tallinn, while the new contract extends the cooperation to include both ground handling and fuel supply at Ostrava and Riga.
The expanded arrangement gives My Freighter a common service partner across three strategically located cargo gateways, supporting operational consistency on its European routes.
Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, founder and chief executive of Centrum Holding, the parent company of My Freighter, said the partnership would support the carrier’s continued expansion in the Baltic and Central European markets.
“We’re pleased to expand our cooperation with Baltic Ground Services,” Abdurakhmanov said. “The integration of fuel supply and ground handling services across Ostrava, Tallinn, and Riga will provide significant operational synergies and enhance our ability to serve our customers with greater efficiency and reliability.”
The three airports provide access to important regional cargo markets. Ostrava serves the Czech Republic and surrounding Central European markets, while Tallinn and Riga strengthen My Freighter’s presence in the Baltic region.
For BGS, the contract further expands its role as an aviation services provider across Central and Eastern Europe. The company currently provides aircraft fuelling and ground handling services at airports including Riga, Tallinn and Ostrava.
Vitalis Dudys, head of commerce at BGS Group, said the company was pleased to extend its relationship with My Freighter beyond Tallinn.
“We are proud to continue supporting My Freighter in Tallinn while expanding our cooperation to Riga and Ostrava,” Dudys said. “Our goal is to provide customers with consistent, high-quality fueling and ground handling services across our network, ensuring operational reliability wherever they fly.”
The expanded agreement comes as My Freighter continues to develop its European operations. The carrier, part of Uzbekistan-based Centrum Holding, operates a fleet of 10 cargo aircraft and serves markets linking Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. BGS said the partnership will support the airline’s continued growth across the region.
For My Freighter, consolidating key ground and fuelling services with one provider across three airports is expected to simplify operational coordination and support more consistent aircraft turnaround and cargo handling.
The deal also strengthens BGS’s position in the European cargo-handling market, particularly across the Baltic and Central European regions, where the company already supports a range of airlines with fuelling and ground services.
As My Freighter expands its European footprint, the broader BGS partnership provides an established operational platform at three airports serving important regional air cargo markets.
