Key Points

  • Airwayz launches upgraded Dynamic UTM platform, introducing enhanced automation, improved situational awareness, and stronger AI-driven decision support for drone and airspace management.
  • New system reduces cognitive workload for airspace managers and drone operators, enabling faster, safer, and more efficient handling of simultaneous missions.
  • Advanced analytics capability introduced, providing periodic traffic insights, mission trends, and operational load data for airports, ports, and regulators to strengthen planning and safety strategies.
  • Redesigned interface and AI-driven logic deliver more intuitive workflows and sharper operational clarity for real-time airspace coordination.
  • Airwayz Airplan mission management platform upgraded, featuring a faster drone database, a duplicate-mission tool that cuts submission times by over 75%, and real-time mission update functionality without cancellations.
  • Integrated UTM–Airplan ecosystem strengthens mission planning and execution, enabling unified oversight from approval to debriefing.
  • Company announces next development phase focused on “Democratizing Tactical Airspace Command & Control,” expanding capabilities from strategic airspace oversight to mission-level defence and security applications.
  • New systems already deployed across multiple operational environments, receiving strong feedback from authorities and drone operators.

Airwayz, the AI-driven airspace management specialist, has launched a major new version of its Dynamic UTM platform, introducing advanced automation, improved situational awareness, and greater operational intelligence to support the safe and efficient scaling of drone operations worldwide.

The upgraded Dynamic UTM aims to reduce cognitive workload for airspace managers and drone operators while strengthening real-time risk mitigation and multi-mission coordination for increasingly complex unmanned traffic environments.

“Our mission has always been to make airspace management intelligent, efficient, and accessible,” said Yair Yosef, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Airwayz. “With this new version, we have refined intelligence, usability, and automation to deliver practical value across the full operational lifecycle — from planning and approval to execution and debriefing — while moving closer to autonomous airspace management.”

Smarter workflows and greater operational insight

The latest Dynamic UTM version enhances communication across all airspace layers, allowing authorities to manage more missions simultaneously with improved safety and precision. Key to the upgrade is a new analytics capability that provides periodic insights — such as traffic density, mission categories, and operational load — for airports, ports, and regulatory agencies.

These insights support strategic resource allocation, safety planning, and emerging monetisation models, turning raw operational data into actionable intelligence.

A redesigned interface and AI-driven decision logic provide clearer situational awareness and more intuitive control, enabling users to concentrate on mission outcomes rather than system complexity.

Enhanced mission management platform for operators

Alongside the Dynamic UTM upgrade, Airwayz has also strengthened its Airwayz Airplan mission management platform, introducing three major new features for drone operators:

  • Improved Drone Database: enables faster flight submissions, clearer UTM communication, and more accurate mission statistics.
  • Duplicate Flight Request: replicates recurring missions in seconds, cutting submission time by more than 75%.
  • Real-Time Mission Updates: allows operators to amend active or scheduled missions without cancelling them, supporting smoother and more flexible operations.

Together, the enhanced UTM and Airplan platforms create a more connected, efficient ecosystem that streamlines mission planning, execution, and review for all stakeholders.

Airwayz eyes next phase: Tactical Airspace Command & Control

While the latest release reinforces Airwayz’s position in dynamic airspace management, the company is already developing its next capabilities — focused on “Democratizing Tactical Airspace Command & Control.”

“Our upcoming product will empower every mission stakeholder — from operators to commanders — to succeed in the most complex operational arenas,” said Eyal Zor, Co-founder and CEO of Airwayz.

The new version of the Dynamic UTM and the upgraded Airplan platform are now deployed across multiple operational environments, receiving strong feedback from both airspace authorities and drone operators.

Airwayz develops AI-based Dynamic UTM and mission management systems that enable real-time coordination, automation, and data-driven decision-making for civil, commercial, and defence ecosystems. Its technologies have been deployed in major programmes including the Port of Rotterdam and Israel’s National Drone Initiative, supporting the evolution of connected, secure, and intelligent airspace operations.
