Alitalia Airlines who have been operating their weekly cargo-only flights from India since June 2020, have reached a milestone figure again after successfully uplifting 53,375 kilos on a single flight from Bombay (BOM) to Rome (FCO). The ULD planning was carefully monitored for maximum utilisation of space on the newly cargo only reconfigured aircraft. The flight had an optimum mix of high-density cargo along with pharmaceuticals, auto parts, spares, chemicals, garments and courier, which helped achieve the desired result.
