In a groundbreaking move, ECS Group has entered into a Total Cargo Management (TCM) agreement with JetSMART Airlines, a leading low-cost carrier in South America. JetSMART, part of the Indigo Partners group, operates a vast network across South America, with a fleet of modern A320 and A321 aircraft serving extensive domestic routes in Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Argentina, as well as international destinations in Brazil, the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Under the four-year agreement, ECS Group will oversee the airline’s cargo operations, managing an impressive 25,000 flights annually. This partnership aims to strengthen JetSMART’s position in its home markets while driving efficiency and growth across its network of routes.
With ECS Group’s expertise in cargo management, the partnership brings with it a sophisticated support system. The company will provide dedicated operational teams in each of the four countries where JetSMART operates, along with its state-of-the-art control tower in San José, Costa Rica.
