Uzbekistan-based cargo carrier My Freighter has entered into a strategic interline agreement with Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh, establishing a new air cargo corridor linking South Asia with Central Asia.
Announced via My Freighter’s official LinkedIn channel, the partnership leverages Biman’s expansive regional network and My Freighter’s direct freighter operations between Dubai World Central (DWC) and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
“Biman operates an extensive cargo network from Dhaka to major hubs across the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia — including frequent flights to Dubai, a critical transit point for air cargo,” stated My Freighter.
Under the new agreement, cargo originating in Bangladesh can now seamlessly connect via Dubai onto My Freighter’s dedicated freighter services to Tashkent, significantly enhancing transit times and reliability between the two regions. The joint Dhaka–Dubai–Tashkent corridor is designed to provide optimised connectivity for time-sensitive shipments.
The agreement is expected to facilitate smoother access for Bangladeshi textile and pharmaceutical exports into Uzbekistan and neighbouring Central Asian countries. It also offers a scalable airfreight solution for industries including apparel, healthcare, e-commerce, and high-value goods.
This latest collaboration marks another milestone in My Freighter’s growing global partnership network, following recent interline agreements with Icelandair Cargo and Aeromexico, as the airline continues to expand its reach across major trade lanes.
