Nippon Express de España, SA (Javier Moré, President; hereinafter, “NX Spain”), a group company of Nippon Express Holdings, Inc. (Mitsuru Saito, President), has obtained Wholesale Distributor Authorization (WDA) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification from the Catalan Department of Health effective January 24 for temporary storage, import/export customs clearance and air/ocean cargo forwarding operations for pharmaceutical products at its company-owned warehouse near Barcelona-El Prat International Airport.
NX Spain operates its own warehouse adjacent to Barcelona-El Prat International Airport that features a 72m2 temperature-controlled facility dedicated to pharmaceutical products and is capable of both refrigerated (2ºC-8ºC) and constant-temperature (15ºC-25ºC) storage.
By combining temporary storage operations and import/export customs clearance, NX Spain will be able to provide international temperature-controlled transport services that meet the needs of its customers.
