A Veteran in Cargo Development
Leunen began his air cargo career in 2000, gaining hands-on experience in cargo handling, forwarding, and airport development. Over the years, he advanced through diverse roles in customer service, sales management, and business development—building a well-rounded understanding of the global cargo ecosystem.

Until early 2025, Leunen served as Senior Business & Development Manager Cargo at Brussels Airport, where he played an instrumental role in attracting new airlines, logistics companies, and expanding international cargo connectivity.
