Experienced logistics executive to strengthen customer-focused expansion, digital capabilities, and global network integration in the UK market
Global logistics provider Rhenus has appointed Scott Dudley as the new head of its Air & Ocean division in the United Kingdom, reinforcing the company’s commitment to accelerating growth, enhancing customer experience, and strengthening its position in one of Europe’s most strategic logistics markets.
In his new role, Dudley will lead the next phase of development for Rhenus Air & Ocean UK, with a focus on expanding the business, enhancing customer engagement, and aligning the UK operations more closely with the company’s global One Rhenus strategy. The initiative is aimed at creating a more integrated and seamless logistics network by connecting services, capabilities, and expertise across Rhenus’ international footprint.
Dudley brings nearly two decades of experience in the logistics and freight forwarding sector and has been part of the Rhenus Group since 2019. During his tenure with the company, he has held several key leadership positions across major international markets, including Branch Manager for Air & Ocean in Germany and Head of Ocean Freight for North America.
His international experience spans Europe, North America, and Asia, providing him with deep knowledge of global supply chains, commercial strategy, and operational management. Before joining Rhenus, Dudley spent ten years with DHL Global Forwarding, where he held a range of operational and commercial roles across Germany, the United States, and Hong Kong, gaining extensive expertise in managing complex international logistics operations.
The appointment comes as Rhenus continues to increase investment in its UK air and ocean freight operations. As part of its broader One Rhenus strategy, the company plans to further develop technology-driven logistics solutions, expand automation capabilities, and improve shipment visibility, enabling customers to benefit from more transparent, efficient, and connected supply chain management.
The company also sees significant opportunities to deepen its support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while continuing to expand its tailored solutions for large multinational customers operating across complex international supply chains.
