Silk Way Alat Free Economic Zone Company (SW AFEZCO) has signed a landmark design and build agreement with Modern Construction Group, marking a key milestone in the development of the Silk Way Cargo Village. This state-of-the-art project will be located within the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ), an initiative that emphasizes Azerbaijan’s commitment to becoming a global hub for logistics and cargo services.
Modern Construction Group will design and construct three key facilities that will form part of the Silk Way Cargo Village: a cargo terminal, the Silk Way office building, and a shared freight forwarder facility. The agreement ensures that these modern facilities will align with the latest international standards for green and sustainable infrastructure.
The project reflects SW AFEZCO’s commitment to advancing innovative and efficient solutions for the aviation and logistics sectors, fostering sustainable development and enhancing regional connectivity.
