Rhenus Air & Ocean moves even closer to its customers and strengthens its presence in North-West Europe by opening two new business sites in Copenhagen and Aarhus. This once again demonstrates the growth course that the globally active logistics specialist is adopting in the region.

Prior to this, Rhenus had already successfully launched a new branch in Norway in February and is now continuing in Denmark. “Our rapid growth in the Nordic countries is evidence of the focus and strategy to provide reliable, high-quality service and operate in close proximity to our customers and their suppliers,” says Frank Roderkerk, the CEO of Rhenus Air & Ocean North-West Europe.

The basis for the growth in Northern Europe is the logistics specialist’s professional and dynamic team with years of operational experience and knowledge of market specifics in the Nordic countries and the Baltic region. Specialising in air and ocean freight as well as warehousing and distribution services, Rhenus Air & Ocean provides a full supply chain solution, even for customers operating in special niches. That includes, for example, logistics for healthcare and pharma products that need to conform with the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

The spectrum of operations also includes the movement of electronics, machinery, furniture, chemicals as well as marine products and spare parts. “Growing together with our customers in a sustainable manner is the aim for Rhenus Air & Ocean in North-West Europe. Supported by our own global network in the Asia-Pacific region, Americas, and Africa we are best equipped to be the competitive advantage for importers and exporters in the Nordic countries,” concludes Roderkerk.
