Virgin Atlantic Cargo has appointed Leisure Kargo as its new general sales agent (GSA) in the Republic of Türkiye, effective 1 September.
Although Leisure Kargo’s main office is in Antalya, the business will soon create a second office there. The initial representation will include exports from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, Ankara, Izmir, and Antalya in Turkey.
Virgin Atlantic Cargo, which only added freighter operations in May, expanded its all-cargo network this month with a new service to Billund Airport.
Steve Buckerfield, head of sales at Virgin Atlantic Cargo, said: “We are excited to start this new relationship with Leisure Kargo and to re-establish Virgin Atlantic Cargo representation in the Republic of Türkiye.
