Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been awarded a contract to handle Zongteng Group’s new Boeing 777 freighter flights at Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport.
Zongteng Group is a leading provider of cross-border e-commerce services, including fulfilment and customised supply chain solutions provided by its sub-brands, YunExpress, Elogistic and World tech, and reported a turnover in 2021 of €3.85 billion.
The new Shenzhen-Paris freighter route is the company’s latest initiative to realise the immense potential of Sino-European cross-border trade.
The new 777F service will provide 15,000 tonnes of annual cargo capacity, providing Zongteng Group customers with highly reliable e-commerce logistics services and optimised lead times.
In Q3 2023, the Group expects to add a second Boeing 777F to increase its Shenzhen-Paris CDG operations to 6-8 flights per week and lift its available capacity to a projected 28,000 tonnes per annum.
WFS has been appointed to provide ramp and cargo handling services for the cargo flights at Paris CDG, which are operated by Zongteng Group in collaboration with Central Airlines.
