Uzbekistan-based cargo carrier My Freighter has signed a new interline agreement with China Southern Airlines, in a move aimed at strengthening airfreight connectivity between Central Asia and China and expanding access to key trade lanes across Asia.
The agreement establishes a framework for seamless cargo transfers between the two airlines, combining My Freighter’s regional network and operational expertise in Central Asia with China Southern’s extensive domestic reach and long-haul international footprint. The partners said the cooperation is expected to open up new trade opportunities and provide customers with greater routing flexibility across the fast-growing Central Asia–China corridor.
“By combining My Freighter’s regional expertise with China Southern’s extensive domestic and international network, the partnership enhances access to key industrial and commercial hubs across China and beyond,” the Uzbek carrier said in a statement. “The interline framework enables seamless cargo transfers between both carriers, offering expanded routing options, improved flexibility, and more efficient logistics solutions for customers operating in the Central Asia–China corridor.”
The latest accord forms part of My Freighter’s broader strategy to deepen its global footprint through interline partnerships and to reinforce its positioning as a strategic bridge between Central Asia and major world markets. Over the past year, the airline has actively pursued agreements designed to extend its reach beyond its home region.
In December, My Freighter concluded an interline partnership with Canadian operator Cargojet, providing customers with enhanced access to the Canadian logistics market and strengthening connectivity between Central Asia and North America.
Throughout 2025, the carrier also entered into interline agreements with Aeromexico, Icelandair Cargo, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Air Serbia, steadily expanding its commercial network across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Fleet growth has supported this outward-looking strategy. My Freighter currently operates eight Boeing 767-300 freighters, seven of which are passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions and one a factory-built production freighter. In March 2025, the airline added a Boeing 757-200P2F to its cargo fleet, further enhancing its medium-haul capabilities.
In addition to its dedicated freighter operations, the carrier maintains a passenger fleet comprising Airbus A319, A320, A321 and A330 aircraft, providing additional bellyhold capacity and network flexibility.
With the new China Southern agreement in place, My Freighter continues to consolidate its role as a key cargo operator linking Central Asia with high-growth markets across China and beyond.
