Silk Way West Airlines expands digital booking access through CargoAi
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter
  • Silk Way West Airlines has partnered with CargoAi to give more than 30,000 freight forwarders access to its cargo capacity, real-time rates and eBooking services across key markets in the USA, Europe and Asia.
  • The integration enables bookings for general cargo, lithium batteries and dangerous goods through CargoMART, alongside direct connections to leading Transport Management Systems via CargoCONNECT, improving visibility, automation and booking flexibility.
  • The expanded partnership strengthens the airline’s digital distribution strategy, making its global cargo services more accessible through freight forwarders’ existing digital platforms while enhancing the customer experience and supporting continued growth.

Silk Way West Airlines is expanding its digital distribution capabilities through its partnership with CargoAi, providing more than 30,000 freight forwarders with seamless access to the airline’s capacity, real-time rates, and eBooking services across key markets in the USA, Europe and Asia. Building on the digital partnership announced at Air Cargo China 2026 in Shanghai, the integration now enables bookings for general cargo, lithium batteries, and dangerous goods through CargoMART, and direct connections to leading Transport Management Systems via CargoCONNECT, providing greater visibility, automation, and reach across multiple booking environments throughout the airline’s service network.

The development marks the next stage of Silk Way West Airlines’ digital transformation and reflects the airline’s broader strategy to make its cargo capacity and services increasingly accessible through the digital environments used by freight forwarders worldwide. The original partnership agreement established the framework for enhanced rate visibility and future digital booking capabilities. The expanded integration now translates that framework into a wider digital distribution offering for customers.

Through CargoAi’s ecosystem, freight forwarders can access Silk Way West Airlines’ capacity across multiple booking environments, providing greater flexibility in how they search for rates, identify available capacity, and manage bookings. The connection through CargoMART and CargoCONNECT is designed to improve visibility, automation, and accessibility while supporting a faster and seamless customer experience.

“Expanding our digital distribution in retail is an important part of how we continue to evolve our customer experience,” said Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines. “Through our partnership with CargoAi, freight forwarders now have another way to access our capacity, rates, and services through the digital channels they use every day. By making our offering more visible and easier to book, we are creating a more efficient customer journey while continuing to strengthen the digital capabilities of our global network.”

“We are proud to continue developing our partnership with Silk Way West Airlines,” said Matthieu Petot, Founder and CEO of CargoAi. “By combining Silk Way West Airlines’ dedicated widebody freighter capacity and global network with CargoAi’s digital ecosystem, we are making capacity and pricing more easily accessible to freight forwarders across multiple booking environments. This expanded integration creates more opportunities for forwarders to connect with Silk Way West Airlines while supporting the airline’s continued digital growth.”

The continued development of digital distribution supports the airline’s commitment to improving customer experience, expanding access to its cargo capacity and adopting innovative solutions across its global operations.
