- Winter schedule runs from October 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027
- Planned winter network of 14 freighter, 112 wide-body belly and 54 European destinations
- New freighter service to Cairo (CAI)
- New wide-body belly destinations: Punta Cana (PUJ) and Malé (MLE)
New freighter services to Cairo and passenger-aircraft cargo capacity to Punta Cana and Malé will broaden the carrier’s reach for the 2026–27 winter season.
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is expanding its winter network with three new destinations, adding dedicated freighter capacity to Cairo and wide-body belly-hold capacity to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Malé in the Maldives.
The winter schedule will run from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027, connecting freight customers through the group’s hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol. The carrier plans to serve 14 freighter destinations, 112 wide-body belly destinations worldwide, including services operated with joint-venture partner Delta, and 54 destinations across Europe.
Cairo will join Air France’s freighter network with three weekly Boeing 777F flights between Paris and the Egyptian capital. The service will provide dedicated main-deck capacity independent of passenger flight schedules, creating an additional option for shipments moving between Europe and North Africa.
The expansion also brings changes to the carrier’s Indian operations. Air France’s freighter service will shift from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai International Airport, with two weekly Boeing 777F flights planned for the winter season.
Meanwhile, Punta Cana will be added to the wide-body belly network from November, with three weekly Boeing 777-300ER services from Paris. Malé will follow in December, with two weekly Airbus A350-900 services. These additions extend cargo access to two markets where passenger services provide the underlying capacity for freight.
Across the freighter network, KLM and Martinair will continue operating Boeing 747 services from Amsterdam to key markets in the Americas, Africa and Asia. Flights serving Seoul will operate three times weekly, including one standalone service and two flights combined with Hong Kong, increasing dedicated freighter capacity on the route.
Seasonal services to Ottawa and Barbados will also return. In Europe, 54 destinations served by narrow-body passenger aircraft will feed cargo through the Paris and Amsterdam hubs, supported by the group’s intra-European trucking network. Cooperation with Delta Cargo and other interline partners will extend access beyond the carrier’s own scheduled network.
“Winter is a demanding season for our customers, from the year-end peak to the flower season in the run-up to Valentine’s Day,” said Pierre-Olivier Bandet, executive vice president cargo at Air France-KLM.
The expanded schedule is designed to give freight customers more routing options during a period shaped by year-end demand and seasonal movements, including flower shipments ahead of Valentine’s Day.
By combining dedicated freighters with cargo capacity on passenger aircraft, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo is broadening its network while offering freight forwarders different options for moving shipments across intercontinental and regional routes.
