Hactl’s stand at this year’s Air Cargo Europe departed from the normal industry trend of showcasing facilities and services, to focus on its latest sustainability achievements. This includes an innovative project in which the company’s unused old uniforms – now replaced by smart new workwear – have been transformed into upcycled bags and cute teddy bears. The recycling project has also eliminated landfill, given new life to old textiles, and provided working opportunities for people with disability. All these achievements accord with Hactl’s sustainability drive, under the new theme of “Green Living Reimagined” – which aims to raise awareness about the need for sustainable living.
This year’s Air Cargo Europe took place in Munich over 4 days and marked the event’s return after a 4-year break due to COVID travel restrictions. It is part of Transport Logistics – the world’s leading exhibition and networking platform for the global logistics industry – which attracted over 750,000 visitors from 120+ countries. Hactl’s delegation, headed by Chief Executive Wilson Kong, met with customers, partners, and media from around the world.
