Jettainer will continue to provide ITA Airways with its Unit Load Device (ULD) management services for another contract period. The global leader in efficient ULD management is looking forward to continuing to work with ITA for many years to come.

Jettainer supports ITA Airways in its growth in the passenger and cargo division and provides a customized fleet of ULDs of more than 4,000 containers and pallets.

Jettainer manages ITA Airways’ entire ULD fleet by its unique combination of sophisticated IT solutions and an experienced team. This approach provides the greatest possible transparency and visibility within the process of ULD use, maximizes ULD utilization rates and avoids empty positioning runs, reducing costs and CO2 emissions.

ITA Airways also benefits from reliability and flexibility in ULD supply, supporting their continued growth trajectory.

The Italian airline serves a growing network of destinations in Europe, Africa, North, Central and South America and Asia via its hub in Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate airport.

Francesco Presicce, Accountable Manager and Chief Technology Officer at ITA Airways, “Jettainer provides us with the continued and valued reliability which we expect and need in order to deliver our services.

“At the same time, its innovative management contributes to the efficient and cost-effective operation of our airline. We are confident that Jettainer is a great partner for our growing business”.

“Our goal is to deliver outstanding services to our customers and to improve our service proposition through continuous development and innovation,” added Thorsten Riekert, Chief Sales Officer at Jettainer. “We greatly appreciate the trust that ITA Airways has shown by awarding us a contract extension. “This decision pushes us to continue to meet the growing ULD management needs in the most efficient way.”
