In a major step toward improving access to essential medicines, Kerry Logistics Network (KLN) has partnered with Teva Pharmaceutical Hong Kong Limited to become the exclusive fourth-party logistics (4PL) provider for Teva in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area. Through its subsidiary, Kerry Pharma, KLN will handle Teva’s entire supply chain, ensuring that vital medications reach pharmacies, clinics, and hospitals without delays.

A Partnership That Puts Patients First

For Teva, a global leader in pharmaceuticals, a stable and efficient supply chain isn’t just about business, it’s about ensuring patients always have access to the medicines they need. That’s where KLN comes in. With this partnership, KLN takes charge of everything from warehousing and distribution to managing regulatory requirements, allowing Teva to focus on what it does best: bringing high-quality medicines to people across the region.

“At the heart of this partnership is the commitment to getting essential medicines to those who need them most, as quickly and reliably as possible,” said Samuel Lau, Managing Director of Integrated Logistics Asia at KLN. “With our extensive logistics network, we can make sure Teva’s products are stored and delivered under the highest standards, whether they’re going to a major hospital or a small community pharmacy.”

Seamless Delivery, Strict Safety Standards

KLN’s expertise in pharmaceutical logistics means that every step of the process—from storage to transport—is carefully managed. The company handles a wide range of Teva’s medicines, including those that require precise temperature control to maintain their effectiveness. KLN’s cold chain solutions ensure that even the most sensitive drugs, including controlled substances, remain safe and effective throughout their journey.

With 190 different products to manage and over 3,000 delivery points, KLN’s team is working around the clock to ensure pharmacies and hospitals never run out of stock. Whether it’s by road, air, or sea, they’re making sure Teva’s medicines are delivered swiftly and securely.

A Shared Vision for the Future

For Teva, this partnership is more than just logistics—it’s about supporting their mission to improve patient access to life-saving treatments.

“A steady supply of medicine can make all the difference in a patient’s health journey,” said Theodor Wee, General Manager of Teva Greater China. “By working closely with Kerry Pharma, we’re not just improving efficiency—we’re ensuring that more patients across the Greater Bay Area get the treatments they need when they need them.”

The collaboration aligns with Teva’s global “Pivot to Growth” strategy, which focuses on expanding access to medications and developing new treatments for patients worldwide.

Delivering More Than Just Medicine

At its core, this partnership is about making life easier for patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacies alike. With KLN’s logistics expertise and Teva’s commitment to high-quality medicines, this collaboration ensures that communities across the Greater Bay Area have a reliable supply of essential treatments—every single day.

This marks a significant step forward in pharmaceutical logistics, setting a new standard for efficiency, reliability, and patient care in the region.
