The UK and Ireland’s premier supply chain event will include three days of seminars and an awards ceremony on the 19th of October
The Multimodal 2021 team has committed to new October dates for the free-to-attend networking and learning show at the Birmingham NEC, now in its 14th year.
The event brings logistics buyers together with supply chain innovators at an exhibition that will also include a programme of seminars and panel debates covering the latest industry trends.

The annual Multimodal Awards evening will take place at the VOX Birmingham, the UK on the 19th of October, hosted by football legend Kevin Keegan.
“We have been building the Multimodal supply chain community since 2008, and after such a difficult few months, we are looking forward to hosting the industry once again,” said Robert Jervis, Logistics Portfolio Director, Clarion Events.
“We have used the time that we could not meet in person to develop new ideas and have continued to provide networking and learning opportunities with the launch of a series of digital webinars hosted on an App platform that enables live questions and 1-2-1 video chat. “The App, called Swapcard, promotes making connections and we will continue to use it to support more networking and discussion at the live event this autumn.”
Multimodal 2021, which represents every logistics sector under one roof, will include an exhibition, a learning programme, and networking events.
New initiatives will include a bespoke match-making service connecting shippers to each other and to exhibitors.
A dedicated Freight Forwarders Village is designed as a marketplace to showcase products and services in a cost-effective way.
Nominations for the Multimodal Awards voted categories, which recognize excellence in air, road, rail, maritime, and freight forwarding services are open.
A new tech category is being launched this month.
The categories are voted for by the thousands of readers of the Multimodal newsletter and exhibitors and visitors to Multimodal.
Entries for the three judged Awards, the Shipper of the Year Award, the Sustainability Award, and the Young Logistics Professional of the Year Award is also open.
Key vertical sectors attending include manufacturing, retail, agribusiness, chemical, automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, food and drink, fashion, recycling, and construction.
As well as the Multimodal Awards, the Multimodal Mixer, sponsored by Forth Ports, on the 20th of October will provide a relaxed networking opportunity.
