IATA CEIV certifications, advanced cold chain capabilities, and strategic investments reinforce the carrier’s commitment to becoming a leading global cargo and logistics partner under Saudi Vision 2030

Saudia Cargo has unveiled its global campaign, “Reliable Solutions, Certified Excellence,” highlighting the airline’s internationally certified expertise in handling specialised and sensitive cargo, including pharmaceuticals, perishables, lithium batteries, live animals, valuable shipments, and dangerous goods.

The campaign is aimed at customers and strategic partners worldwide and underscores the carrier’s commitment to delivering precision-driven logistics solutions supported by rigorous international certifications, advanced infrastructure, and strict operational standards.

In an increasingly complex air cargo environment where reliability, compliance, and specialised handling are critical, the campaign showcases the broader impact of high-quality logistics operations that support global healthcare networks, secure food supply chains, protect valuable assets, and enable the seamless movement of essential goods worldwide.

At the core of Saudia Cargo’s specialised cargo capabilities is a comprehensive framework of internationally recognised certifications. The carrier holds three certifications under the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators (CEIV) programme: CEIV Pharma, CEIV Fresh, and CEIV Lithium Batteries. These are complemented by six International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) certifications that reinforce the company’s commitment to operational quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

For pharmaceutical transportation, Saudia Cargo adheres to the highest Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards to ensure temperature-sensitive medicines and healthcare products maintain their integrity throughout the supply chain. The company’s specialised processes are designed to provide secure, compliant, and reliable transport solutions for the global healthcare industry.

In the perishables segment, Saudia Cargo utilises advanced cold chain technologies, including vacuum cooling systems and refrigerated dollies, to maintain optimal temperature conditions and preserve the freshness, quality, and safety of highly sensitive agricultural products. These capabilities play a significant role in supporting food supply chains, particularly across markets in Africa and other international destinations.

The airline also provides dedicated solutions for the transportation of live animals, operating in full compliance with IATA’s Live Animals Regulations. Specially designed air stalls, climate-controlled cargo compartments, and continuous monitoring procedures help ensure animal welfare and safety during transport.

For high-value shipments, Saudia Cargo’s Valuable Cargo services offer enhanced security, priority handling, and advanced monitoring solutions to protect precious and sensitive goods throughout their journey. The carrier also maintains certified expertise in the safe handling and transportation of dangerous goods in accordance with stringent international aviation safety requirements.

The campaign reflects Saudia Cargo’s wider strategic growth agenda, supported by investments in modern high-capacity freighter aircraft, advanced cargo infrastructure, digital technologies, and strategic international partnerships. These initiatives are intended to strengthen operational efficiency, increase capacity, and meet rising global demand for specialised logistics services.

The carrier’s expansion strategy is closely aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to transform the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into a leading international logistics and transportation hub connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. Leveraging the Kingdom’s strategic geographical position, Saudia Cargo continues to expand its global reach through a growing international network spanning three continents.

Its presence in East Asia and the Pacific has been strengthened through Saudia Cargo Global in Hong Kong and cooperation agreements with China Cargo Airlines, enabling enhanced market access and greater flexibility for customers requiring reliable connections across key international trade routes.

By launching the “Reliable Solutions, Certified Excellence” campaign, Saudia Cargo reinforces the message that excellence in air freight extends beyond transportation capacity. It is built upon internationally verified standards, specialised expertise, digital innovation, and disciplined operational processes that ensure critical shipments move safely, efficiently, and without interruption.

The initiative also reflects the company’s brand commitment to keeping “Life Uninterrupted”, demonstrating how certified logistics solutions can safeguard essential industries and maintain the continuity of global supply chains.
