Turkish Cargo adds its sixth of eight B777 Freighters it has on order, to its fleet. Taking off from Everett Paine Airport (Seattle/USA) the new aircraft landed at Ataturk Airport on Wednesday.
The aircraft joins a growing fleet of 344 aircraft including 24 freighters. According to August data from WorldACD, the international air cargo data analytics company, Turkish Cargo increased its tonnage rate by 7.5 per cent, ranking 7th across the air cargo market which has shrunk by -7.1 per cent, the carrier says.
The carrier has air cargo services to more than 300 destinations including 88 direct cargo destinations at 126 countries across the world. Turkish Cargo aims to be one of the top five global air cargo brands by 2023, it adds.
