The WACO System (WACO) has added on board courier (OBC) Wings On Board (WOB) and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) SACO Shipping (SACO) to its growing pool of associate vendor members.
Effective immediately, both WOB and SACO will join WACO’s network of independent freight management and logistics companies operating across more than 119 countries.
“Wings On Board brings exceptional specialist knowledge and state-of-the-art technology to their deliveries and it is a pleasure to welcome them to the WACO network,” said Richard Charles, Chief Executive Officer, WACO.
WOB is committed to respond to the most demanding time sensitive challenges with global 24/7 premium OBC (On-board Courier) transportation service with real-time tracking throughout the complete delivery process.
“We look forward to discussing OBC opportunities and requirements with other WACO members and are eager to connect at upcoming events,” said Hielke Hager, Managing Director, Wings On Board.”
Founded in 1988, SACO has offices throughout Europe, as well as representation in South America and Africa.
“Collaboration with SACO opens up a range of global network and NVOCC opportunities for the WACO community and we welcome them to our expanding list of vendors,” said Charles.
The NVOCC utilises modern software to ensure speedy and accurate handling of import and export cargo for its global network of agents and partners.
“We look forward to providing services to the community and are excited to discuss opportunities in the NVOCC sector at upcoming events,” said Christian Wahl, Managing Director, SACO Shipping GmbH.
The WACO Associate Vendor Member category was established in 2016 and has delivered breadth and depth to the freight forwarder network.
Both Wings On Board and SACO representatives will be attending WACO’s EGM 2023 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam this October, where they will discuss services and opportunities with the rest of the community.
