Crane Worldwide Logistics has announced its official entry into the Spanish market with the opening of a new office and bonded warehouse facility in Madrid, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued European expansion strategy.
The development follows the strategic acquisition of Blue Cargo S.A., a well-established local logistics operator with strong expertise in freight forwarding and supply chain services across Spain. The acquisition has enabled Crane Worldwide Logistics to rapidly establish a fully operational presence in the country, strengthening its service offering across Southern Europe.
The new facility is located in Coslada, approximately four miles from Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, positioning it within one of Spain’s key logistics corridors. The site integrates office operations with a bonded warehouse under a single roof, enabling a streamlined end-to-end logistics model that supports freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousing functions in a unified structure.

Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the warehouse includes flexible floor space dedicated to bonded storage, cargo consolidation, and inventory staging. This configuration is intended to improve coordination across supply chain functions and reduce transit times for cargo moving in and out of the Iberian Peninsula.
The co-located operational model allows Crane Worldwide Logistics to offer more responsive and customised logistics solutions, particularly for clients requiring time-sensitive distribution and integrated customs handling across Southern Europe.
