The The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has officially opened nominations for the 2026 TIACA Hall of Fame Award, inviting the global logistics community to recognise individuals whose careers have made a lasting contribution to the development of the air cargo industry.
Recognising Lifetime Impact
The award celebrates lifetime achievement across the broader logistics ecosystem, honouring leaders whose work has advanced the sector through innovation, advocacy, leadership and industry development. Candidates may come from across the air, land and sea logistics sectors, reflecting the interconnected nature of global supply chains.

The TIACA Hall of Fame is regarded as one of the industry’s most prestigious recognitions. Unlike many industry awards focused on recent achievements, the Hall of Fame highlights long-term influence and enduring contributionsthat have helped shape the evolution of global cargo and logistics.
The programme is administered by the TIACA Chairmans Council, composed of former TIACA chairpersons, and is designed as an independent recognition initiative not open to sponsorship.
“The TIACA Hall of Fame represents the very best of our industry — those individuals whose leadership, vision and commitment have created meaningful and enduring change,” said Roos Bakker, Chair of TIACA. “We encourage the entire global cargo community to participate by nominating the leaders who have inspired them and helped move our industry forward.”
Leadership, Innovation and Advocacy
Nominees are evaluated based on their global or regional impact across several areas, including leadership, innovation, advocacy, education and the creation of opportunities that strengthen businesses and support the future workforce.
According to Glyn Hughes, Director General of TIACA, the award focuses on recognising those who have consistently pushed the boundaries of the industry.
“This award is about recognising impact over a lifetime, not a single achievement,” Hughes said. “The Hall of Fame shines a light on individuals who have challenged the status quo, championed progress and helped define the modern air cargo and logistics industry.”
Nomination and Selection Process
Nominations may be submitted by individuals or organisations and must include supporting documentation outlining the nominee’s contributions and influence within the logistics sector.
The nomination window for the 2026 TIACA Hall of Fame Award remains open until 16 March 2026. After submissions close, candidates will be reviewed through a structured evaluation and digital voting process conducted by the TIACA Executive Committee and a dedicated Hall of Fame jury comprising members of the TIACA Board and the Chairmans Council.
Recognition at the TIACA Executive Summit
The selected inductee will be formally honoured during the TIACA Executive Summit 2026, scheduled to take place in Warsaw, Poland from 1–3 June 2026. The summit gathers senior executives from across the global cargo ecosystem and serves as a platform for strategic dialogue on industry trends and challenges.
Through initiatives such as the Hall of Fame, TIACA aims to highlight the individuals whose vision and dedication have shaped the modern logistics landscape while inspiring the next generation of leaders across the air cargo community.
