Crane Worldwide Logistics has officially integrated the cargo.one portal into its transport management systems (TMS), marking a significant step in the company’s digital transformation strategy. The integration spans Crane’s operations across 33 countries, aiming to enhance efficiency, reduce operational complexity, and provide faster, more accurate quoting for shippers worldwide.
The partnership leverages cargo.one’s comprehensive suite of solutions, including live rates, static rates, live estimates, a rate engine, Quotes API, AI-powered quoting, and tender feeder tools. By centralizing the management of buy rates, internal product rates, and sell rates on a single platform, Crane is able to unify previously fragmented data sources and deliver consistent, data-driven pricing across its global network.
“With cargo.one’s Quotes API, Crane can provide shippers with rapid, accurate quotes and RFIs, ensuring a seamless quoting experience,” the company said in a press release. “The integration allows our teams to focus on tangible innovation for clients rather than managing fragmented data systems.”
Brannon Kuykendall, Chief Information Officer at Crane, highlighted the strategic importance of the integration: “Cargo.one unlocks quoting advantages by providing access to a broad portfolio of live, static, contract, and promotional airline rates in one platform. As we continue to expand AI-driven capabilities, partnerships that enable real-time data streaming and modern integration methods are essential to delivering value to our clients.”
Moritz Claussen, Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one, emphasized the industry-wide significance of the collaboration. “Forwarders increasingly require intelligent automation and comprehensive data solutions. Our work with Crane reflects the need for platforms that combine technology, domain expertise, and deep understanding of freight operations to drive operational efficiency and scalability.”
The integration with cargo.one positions Crane Worldwide to enhance the accuracy and consistency of its quoting processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen its digital infrastructure across multiple continents. By embracing AI-powered automation and centralized rate management, Crane reinforces its commitment to delivering reliable, data-driven services to shippers while preparing for future expansion in a competitive global airfreight market.
