Air Charter Service (ACS) has appointed Andrew Summers as the new Regional Director overseeing its operations across mainland Europe, marking a strategic move aimed at bolstering the company’s presence on the continent.
ACS Chairman Chris Leach underscored the significance of focusing on Europe, a region representing 15% of the global economy. He praised Summers’ successful leadership over the past decade in expanding ACS’s business across the Middle East, Africa, and India from Dubai, expressing confidence in his ability to replicate this success in Europe and strengthen the company’s market position.
In his new capacity, Summers will guide ACS’s European operations heads across its cargo, private jets, and group travel divisions to foster business growth and explore opportunities in new markets. With proficiency in Russian, Summers will also oversee the expansion of ACS’s presence in Central Asia through its Kazakhstan office.
Summers, who brings 18 years of experience with ACS, including roles in London and Dubai since 2014, expressed excitement about returning to the UK headquarters to spearhead ACS’s initiatives in the European charter market. He praised the strength of ACS’s teams across its seven offices in mainland Europe and anticipates collaborative efforts with them.
The appointment highlights ACS’s strategic commitment to leadership and expansion in the aviation sector, reinforcing its role as a key player in the European market.
