Burak Kurt joins National Aviation Services as group COO-cargo

National Aviation Services has appointed Burak Kurt as Group COO-Cargo. In his new role, Kurt will be responsible for driving technology and innovation, improving cargo growth and expanding the company’s cargo business in new growth markets in the MENA region.

Kurt had announced his decision to leave Celebi Aviation where he served as the chief executive officer for its India office since November 2019. Kurt has been associated with Celebi Aviation for the last 20 years holding several key roles. He began his career at Celebi Aviation in 2001 as an operations agent. He rose to the ranks of regional director, Istanbul at Celebi Hava Servisi until 2016 before being appointed as CEO of Celebi Delhi Cargo in 2019.

Middle East-based National Aviation Services has its presence in over 50 airports, handling seven of the world’s top 10 airlines and operating more than 50 airport lounges across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
