Freightos has expanded its digital air cargo ecosystem through a new integration with AI-native transport management system (TMS) provider FreightSuite, enabling freight forwarders to access live airline rates, generate quotes and book cargo capacity directly from within their operating platform.

The integration embeds Freightos for Forwarders into the FreightSuite platform, giving users access to real-time airfreight pricing and booking capabilities from more than 75 airline partners without leaving their core transport management system. The move is aimed at streamlining air cargo procurement by eliminating the need to switch between multiple applications or manually re-enter shipment data.

As digitalisation continues to reshape freight forwarding, the partnership reflects growing demand for integrated workflows that combine live market connectivity with artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and accelerate customer response times.

According to the two companies, FreightSuite’s AI-powered workflows can automatically retrieve live airline pricing from Freightos, generate quotations and complete bookings within a single interface. This significantly reduces the manual effort traditionally associated with securing air cargo capacity and managing rate requests.

FreightSuite said the integration can reduce quote turnaround times from several days to less than two minutes, while helping freight forwarders respond more quickly to customer enquiries. Customers using the AI-native platform have also reported a 40% increase in operator productivity and net margin improvements of between 3% and 8%, highlighting the commercial benefits of workflow automation.

Sam Moore, Co-Founder of FreightSuite, said the collaboration enables logistics providers to scale their businesses without proportionally increasing staffing levels.

“By combining Freightos’ real-time air rates with our agentic architecture, forwarders can slash quote turnarounds from days to under two minutes while completely eliminating manual data entry,” Moore said.

For Freightos, the partnership represents another step in expanding its digital marketplace through third-party logistics software integrations, making live airline connectivity available where freight forwarders already manage their daily operations.

Pablo Pinillos, Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Freightos, said embedding real-time booking functionality into transport management systems is becoming increasingly important as the industry accelerates its digital transformation.

“Continuing to expand our ecosystem of TMS integrations, this partnership with FreightSuite’s AI-native platform further expands the reach of our carrier network and allows more logistics service providers to seamlessly trigger digital booking workflows right where they already manage their operations,” Pinillos said.

The integration underscores the air cargo industry’s growing adoption of AI-driven technologies to improve speed, visibility and operational efficiency. As freight forwarders face increasing pressure to provide faster quotations and secure capacity in competitive markets, integrated digital platforms are emerging as a key differentiator in delivering responsive and data-driven logistics services.
