Aviator Airport Alliance has announced the appointment of Minna Virmajoki as Managing Director of Aviator Finland, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to enhance operational performance, customer service and workforce development across its Nordic aviation network.
Virmajoki, who joined Aviator Finland in 2023 as Finance Director, previously served as Interim Managing Director and now officially assumes responsibility for leading the company’s Finnish operations. She brings extensive experience in finance, business management and organisational leadership gained across multiple industries before transitioning into the aviation sector.
Since joining Aviator, Virmajoki has played a key role in supporting the company’s operations, working closely with employees, airline customers and industry partners in Finland. Her appointment reflects Aviator’s focus on maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and operational excellence in an increasingly dynamic aviation environment.
Focus on Operational Excellence and People Development
Speaking about her new role, Virmajoki emphasised the importance of teamwork and the critical role ground handling services play in supporting airline operations.

Jo Alex Tanem, Chief Executive Officer of Aviator Airport Alliance, praised Virmajoki’s leadership and contribution during a period of transition for the Finnish organisation.
