Senator International Freight Forwarding LLC, a supplier of air and maritime freight, warehousing and other logistic services based in Miami, Florida, announced it has put into operation a weekly aerial connection between Frankfurt-Hahn, Germany and Queretaro, Mexico.

“The Own Controlled Flight (OCF) operates regularly with two connections a week back and forth. All types of freight can be transported, especially oversized and heavy loads – with the highest quality, highest safety and highest reliability,” said the company in a statement.

Senator started officially started connections on May 14, 2018 using an Icelandic Airlines’ B747-400 freighter, carrying machinery and equipment bound for German carmaker BMW’s manufacturing plant currently under construction in San Luis Potosi.

Besides Mexico’s blooming automotive industry, company officials see a great opportunity to serve Queretaro’s aerospace sector, although they are open to all kinds of shipments. Depending on demand, a second weekly flight will be taken into consideration.

The company will offer tailor-made services with short transit times through the use of exclusive handling areas at both airports, efficient freight handling, faster customs clearance, including pre-carriage and follow-up, and our services including direct access to capacity via the Senator booking desk for and use of a 24/7 control tower.

With this new Mexican destination, Senator International responds to the strong demand in this region and at the same time expands the Senator Atlantic Bridge, which has been successfully operating for a year and a half with its own transatlantic cargo traffic between Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN), Germany, and Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP), USA.

“For more than a year, Senator employees have worked passionately on this outstanding project. We would like to thank all our customers, the representatives of the two airports and our staff who have made this possible,” said the company in the statement.
